Asking For Self, Male 26, Multan Dera Ghazi Khan
I experience pain in the heel of my left foot when I walk barefoot, whereas my right foot remains completely normal. However, when I wear shoes, the pain disappears entirely. My height is approximately 5 feet 7 inches, and my weight is 81 kg, which is slightly above the ideal range. Regarding my medical history, I previously consulted a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) for pain related to Achilles tendinitis. After receiving treatment and medication, that condition improved. However, I am now experiencing pain specifically in the heel area of my left foot.

sir what would be the reason? is it due to overweight or something else bcz I don\'t have any past history of such pain or medication except tripizum muscle pain that occurred with very intense pain but still happens sometimes so I want to know why this happened
please recommend any test for its evaluation

For Heel Pain Plantar Fasciitis/achilles tendinitis please
Start with conservative management,Physiotherapy is highly recommended, especially stretching exercises for the plantar fascia and calf muscles. Always use soft, cushioned footwear with proper arch support—avoid walking barefoot at all times.
Take NSAIDS painkillers for pain and inflammation relief
If symptoms persist, proper evaluation is necessary. This may include clinical examination, X-rays, and relevant laboratory tests to rule out other causes.
You are welcome to visit my clinic for a detailed assessment and personalized treatment plan.
Thank you.

Thank you
Agreed with my other respected colleagues.
Once you established the diagnosis of Plantar fasciitis, than keep it in your mind that this condition may take many months to settle sometimes 18 to 24 months.
Management is pain killers, heel pad , physiotherapy.
Apart from these modalities, other options are Extra corporeal short wave therapy, PRP injection, Steroid injection. Last resort is surgery.
Hope for the best Inshallah

Normally we rule out inflammatory cause like Rheumatoid arthritis especially if it\'s on both feet. Most of the time no reason, but it\'s relatively more common in overweight person and persons in a job which requires prolong standing.
