Aoa, These are my two MRI reports of the right knee, one from 5 months ago & one from now. I got this injury bcz of squats and fall Doctor suggested me arthroscopy when i done my first MRI(Old one) and my surgery is scheduled for next week on Thursday. Now I’ve done a new MRI again. Kindly tell me what the difference is between these two reports. I have the same symptoms now as I had before: Knee locking Unable to bend the knee Pain while walking & using stairs My left knee has similar symptoms & pain . It doesn’t lock, but I can’t bend it properly like right knee. When nd bcz of this injury: Both of my feet have continuous tingling, which gets worse when I walk I have a lot of clicking sounds in my back also Kindly doctors tell me should i do.. go for surgery or should i wait? And what's going on my left knee, foot tingling or at back?
significant difference/ improvement in your condition. please reconsider your opinion after Getting 2nd opinion on your MR. you will need simple Minicus repair or Physiotherapy only.
without surgery it's completely treatable after taking some medicine don't you worry detailed history required kindly book appointment with me
wasalam
you should get yourself examined first and then plab anything take both mri films with you as there os some discrepancy in both reports
Arthroscopy is confirmatory but first examination should be donw
need to be examined. may settle down with injection only
Thank you
October 25 MRI reported Grade 3 tear of medial Meniscus
Feb 26 MRI reported Grade 2 tear of medial Meniscus
I personally like to see the MRI pictures of these dates.
If MRI pictures reflect these improvement from grade 3 to grade 2 in 3 months it's good, and it means meniscus tear is healing.
Regarding your symptoms of pain, locking and difficulty in knee bending and symptoms in your left knee , difficult to say without physical examination. Why your knee is locking? With meniscal tear it usually happens with displaced torn meniscus and none of the reports mention this
No rush in going for Arthroscopy of your knee
Kindly share MRI pictures.
Hope for the best Inshallah

Firstly, thank u doctor for giving me your precious time.
Secondly, the hospital didn't give me the film of my first (old) MRI. My father insisted a lot, but they still didn’t provide it. That’s why I did my MRI again to see the current condition of my knee on film, and this is the film of the new MRI.
As I already told you, I still have the same symptoms as before. I feel no improvement in my body or pain. In fact, I feel it is worse now because I cannot walk properly. I feel a stretching, current-like sensation in both upper sides of my knees and thighs when I walk or even stand. The condition of my left knee has also worsened. I cannot bend it properly and have pain, but there is no locking in the left knee. I also have continuous tingling in my both foot and clicking sounds in my back.
All my problems which i explained started when i got this injury.
Yes, u r right. I'll go to the hospital for a physical examination & then take a decision.
Currently, doctor can u plz tell me if this report matches the current MRI film? And what could be happening in my left knee, foot, and back?
