Talk to Orthopedic Surgeon on Pain In Leg After Hip Joint Replacement
Asking for Father, Male, 66 years old, Karachi
I m asking a problem on behalf of my father. He is 66 years old and had a hip joint fracture last year which was then replaced. After 6 months of replacement there was an implant grow near the joint , it was operated and removed by the surgeon. After that operation he has been suffering from a continuous pain in lower side of leg. Although he has taken many antibiotics, pain killers anti inflammatory medicines but no improvement has been observed. I want to ask the possible reason of his consistent pain and the possible step we may take further? I would be thankful for the suggestions.

1.
**Muscle strain** – zyada jhukna, wazan uthana, ya ghalat posture se muscles stretch ho jati hain.
2.
**Ghalat posture** – lamba arsa jhuk kar baithna, mobile/laptop ka zyada use.

**Zaroori baat:** Agar dard zyada ho, pairon mein sunnpan ya kamzori aaye, bukhar ho, ya dard 2–3 hafton se zyada rahe, to doctor ko zaroor dikhana chahiye.

You have not mentioned whether he had hip replacement again or not. if not he needs replacement after consulting an orthopedic in fiction. if hip was released and has infection, implant may need removal and a 2 stage surgery again.
