Talk to Orthopedic Surgeon on Persistent Thigh Pain And Knee Effusion

Asalam o Alaikum Doctor, I have been experiencing thigh pain for the past three months. The pain initially started in my thigh but now radiates to my entire leg. About one month ago, I consulted an orthopedic surgeon and presented my X-ray report. The doctor prescribed Moxtu 15 mg twice daily, along with knee support and icing. I took this medication for 15 days; however, there was no improvement in my pain, and the knee swelling did not reduce. The doctor then prescribed Brexin and Thiolox twice daily for 10 days. After completing this course, approximately 60% of the swelling reduced, but the pain remained unchanged. The doctor clarified that it is not simple swelling but knee effusion. Subsequently, I was advised to undergo an ultrasound of the knee joint for fluid collection, along with CRP and ESR tests (reports attached).
