Hi. I am Dr Mukesh Bhimani, consultant Psychiatrist at Hyderabad . Dekhen Anxiety, OCD ke liye itni medicines ke zarorat nhn hoti hai, aur abi jo apki kaifiyat ho rahi hai wo medicines ke side effects ho rahe hen.
OCD k features abhi be hai apko?
Anxiety k features sleep,khana peena,mood,dil ki darkan,sweating aur tremors waghera kesy hain apka?

clomfranil may cause such effects. better to consult a psychiatrist. co-depricap maybe better for u

ye dose pe depend krta hai. apko shuru se hi agr ye dose mili hai tou isko km krne ki zrurat hai. side effect control hojate hain is se. but agr phr b na hon or apki condition wohi rhe tou medicine change krne ki zrurat hogi

Aoa, if you were not having side effects on previous treatment, you can start that again, stopping these medications without supervision or advice of your psychiatrist is not a good idea as it may lead to troublesome withdrawal effects. It seems like you have trust issues for doctor or medication, first you need to be fully convinced that you have a psychiatric disorder and you need to take treatment for a longer period of time, i mean mora than one year. If there is a problem of availability of fist medication, you can start with depricap capsule which is easily available every where, ( you were taking a combination ). For the second treatment you were having side effects as you started with a higher dose, gradually increasing the dose of clomfranil from 10 is recommended.

All Psychiatric disorders need consistency , both in follow-up and treatment. Patient should not stop taking medicine prescribed by Psychiatrist. Secondly if you face any issue during treatment, please do consult your doctor. Thirdly do get your routine bodily check up including labs as per advised by doctor to rule out any organic cause.
