Use grounding, focus on what you can see, hear, and feel right now to bring the mind out of fear mode. Stop frequent BP or body checking; repeated checking increases anxiety and fear
Label negative thoughts as “anxiety thoughts”, not facts, and avoid arguing with them. Engage in light physical activity (walking, stretching) to release excess adrenaline. Maintain a regular sleep routine and reduce caffeine, especially after afternoon. Journal writing can help as well, to manage negative thoughts.
