You can take second opinion from another psychiatrist, and there are some common reasons for poor outcome such as medicine is not to the dose to acquire full benefits or some cases require CBT along with medicines or poor treatment compliance in which medicine is not taken regularly, there could be others as well. you can switch to psychotherapy to see if that works but after having another psychiatrist opinion.
