Thank you for reaching out - I understand these symptoms are uncomfortable and affecting your quality of life. However, I can’t provide medication guidance like this. Whenever a doctor, especially a psychiatrist prescribes any medications, they take several things under consideration such as: why were you switched? (The original reason for switching matters, it tells us whether returning to Seroquel actually addresses the underlying clinical need), your diagnosis (different conditions require different medication strategies, and a change that works for one person may not work for another), the timeline (1.5 months on Librax may not be long enough to know if those side effects will stabilize or if they’re sustained), or any other factors (dosing, drug interactions, your medical history, other symptoms we’re not seeing). Making a change without the full picture risks either returning to symptoms that made the original switch necessary, or missing an opportunity to adjust dosing or add a complementary approach that would work better.
What you actually need is a proper psychiatric assessment where we can review your full history, understand why you were switched, evaluate your current symptoms in context, and make an evidence-based recommendation (which might be switching back, adjusting the current medication, adding something, or trying a different approach entirely). Please book a consultation with us at IQ Institute of Neuropsychiatry and bring your medication history and a list of the symptoms you’re experiencing. We’ll work through this properly.
