Asking for Self, Male, 66 years old, Sh?hd?dpur
Hello , I've attached the recent Dorsolumbar Spine MRI report for Nisar Ahmed (66Y), who has been experiencing left leg pain. The findings highlight disc protrusions and nerve compression, particularly at the L3-L4 and L4-L5 levels. Could you please review this and advise on the severity and next steps for treatment?
The MRI report reveals wear-and-tear changes in the lower back with a slipped disc at L4-L5 causing pressure on the nerves. Most patients improve with medications, physiotherapy, and activity modification, but if there is weakness, bladder/bowel disturbance, or persistent severe leg pain, a spine surgeon\'s assessment is warranted. If you can provide duration of symptoms, whether pain goes into the legs, and whether there is any weakness or bladder/bowel involvement,I can suggest a more specific management plan.

There are no bladder or bowel issues. The pain has been present in the left leg for the past two months and only occurs when the patient is walking. The prescribed tablets, Zeegap (75mg) and Duzalta (20mg), did not relieve the pain. Additionally, Lalap tablets (50mg) were prescribed alongside them.
