Hi, my name is Maryam. I am a 27-year-old woman with three children, all delivered by C-section. They are 4 years, 2 years, and 8 months old.

Lately, I have been experiencing joint pain. Some days it affects my hands so badly that I don’t want to pick anything up, and other days the pain is in my knees, making it difficult to walk. When I wake up, I sometimes feel stiffness in my arms, legs, or even one entire side of my body, and moving feels very painful. Occasionally, I wake up with numbness on one side of my body.

I also experience strong cravings for sugar and food, although I try my best to manage them. My weight is 55 kg, and my height is 5 feet 1 inch. My eyesight has become weaker, and I have trouble seeing clearly even at short distances.

At times, I feel very hopeless, especially when people bother me without reason. I often feel left out at home and don’t know how to participate in situations like others. Sometimes, I even have thoughts about suicide.
