One of my frnd is in depression, short term memory loss, living with the family who are not supportive, commenting on her appearances and color. She is in alot of stress. Has low self esteem. Need help from psychiatrist, who can suggest relaxants for her so that once she'll b stable.

Living in non-conducive environment is really stressful. Psychological intervention is better for such reactive depression. It is advised to consult Psychologist. In Karachi such services are available at Institute of Clinical Psychology of Karachi University or Institute of Professional Psychology of Beharia university. It is also advised to organize activities of daily living & take regular exercise. If problem persist then consult a psychiatrist in your area.
