Talk to Psychologist on Bedwetting
Asking for Self, Female, 24 years old, Rawalpindi
I am a 24 year old female. whenever I have extreme stress it's hard for me to sleep. I experience urinary urgency and frequency along with polyuria during day time while I am stressed out and insecure. It happens like i get panic attack one night and bedwet the next day after panic attack. I have a history of bedwetting in childhood till 10 years, the episodes repeated in 13 and they started again while i was 22.
I am also been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder recently. I did take psychotherapy three years before for emotional regulation (not bpd, it wasnt diagnosed then), i had improved emotional regulation and social relations during therapy but after therapy ended abruptly and later i developed higher anxiety levels increasing over time and one or two instances of bedwetting at times.
I have started therapy but i wish to know if this bedwetting is due to stress and anxiety or it may be some underlying health issue. Should i consult a urologist for this issue. i

you should remember one thing that 70% of our physical diseases are due to depression and other psychological issues, so consult with a clinical Psychologist first then if he recommends you to visit urologist then consult with urologist, in my opinion
