I have a fear of dolls . I never played with dolls. I am quite brave like I can sleep alone and I don't have fear of darkness or any animal but I have fear of doll(blinking eyes doll) if the doll is placed at any place so I don't feel any anxiety but if someone asks to touch doll so I cry and hide in the room and didn't open the door until I make sure that there is no doll myself. please tell me what should I do? everyone laugh at me. I try my best to not be scared of dolls as they can't do anything but still I cant able to overcome my fear. and please tell me from which specialist should I discuss my issue? should I consult with a psycatrist or psychologist? is there any treatment?

i guess i have fear since childhood when i am round 3 years old. i remember in childhood when i don't listen to my siblings and parents so they used to said we bring doll.i dont have a fear of barbie doll and i like barbie dolls but i have fear of chubby dolls which have blinking eyes i am super scared of their eyes. i can't imagine to touch them. when i was 18 yr old so my czn bring doll and she throw at me i was crying and shivering and i locked myself in room. Please tell me that is it treatable? i dont want to be the reason of people laughter.

yes my siblings used to tease me with dolls but i think i already have this fear that's why sometime my siblings and cousins terrify me with dolls. i have watched dolls movie with my siblings but i can't able to touch them. and my niece birthday in next month and i think my relative will gift her dolls how can i avoid this situation. her birthday giving me anxiety and i am not sharing my situation with my family as everyone say that you are adult and you still have a fear of dolls.

in childhood when i was around 3 years old i found that i have phobia of dolls. my family also know about this phobia so they never bring dolls in home. but now my parents think that i overcome my fear and if anyone ask me that i still have a fear so i lied to them and say no i dont have any fear. but i know that i still have fear of dolls.

do daily practice of imagining of doll firstly practice to imagine doll like you are watching sweet and cute doll. can you see doll images on net? only practice this if you could resist otherwise do this under expert supervision.
