He can take colchicine 0.5 mg twice a day For 5 days .. other medicines are Steroids or anti inflammatories... obviously need to know other conditions he suffers from ...I would suggest talking to an online rheumatologist .. zyloric acid can actually make gout Worse if started acutely with a gouty attack
