Why do you need to visit and cannot be advised just based on the info above? Because doctors, when seeing a patient, observe a thousand little clues in the patient, things that help them make the right decision. It is not possible to make such decisions here based on just the written text.

Can you see how many times I have used patients in the example above? That is how we the doctors make a diagnosis. By focusing on patients and getting as much information as possible about their symptoms and conditions.

I would even go beyond that and would like to tell you that you or anyone should not follow any medical advice given by anyone, including doctors, on the internet without seeing the patient or her reports.

Medicine, ideally, should not be practiced without seeing and examining the patients and their reports. Virtual online consultations are ok to some extent, especially for followup visits, because doctors can at least see the patients and ask immediately questions about symptoms, previous reports etc. which can be shared instantly by the patient. Written text by the patient usually provides little helpful information in making any medical decisions by the doctor. I hope you will understand.
