Dear Dr. Sb AOA,
I am Ali (41 years age with ocassional high BP which goes to 140-150/90-95). I am having high uric acid issue for a year which is currently 10.3 (normal range 7.29). It happens before too but when i take zyloric 100mg twice a day for 2 weeks then uric acid becomes normal. But after few weeks it becomes high again.
I have done RFT too which is ALL NORMAL. Please advise if I should start taking zyloric 100 or 200mg again or gouric 40mg once or twice a day?
Do you have any attacks of severe joint pain? or you have kidney stones?
Take Zyloric 100mgs one after breakfast. repeat uric acid again after one month and then make an appointment through Marham.

Please get an online consultation with a rheumatologist.. treatment to lower Uric acid is only required if u are having symptoms in the form of joint inflammation or renal stones. If treatment is required it has to be taken long term .. please consult with a rheumatologist who can give u a plan of how the dose needs to be changed depending on the uric acid levels
