Gravinate Tablet uses include the treatment of nausea, vomiting, and motion sickness. It contains Dimenhydrinate, an antihistamine that works by blocking histamine receptors in the brain and inner ear. This helps prevent and treat dizziness, vertigo, nausea, and vomiting caused by motion sickness, inner ear problems, or other conditions.
Your doctor might give you Gravinate Tablet for:
Motion sickness (car, air, sea travel)
Nausea and vomiting
Dizziness and vertigo
Meniere's disease
Labyrinthine disorders (inner ear problems)
Morning sickness in pregnancy
Post-operative nausea and vomiting
Always follow your doctor's instructions exactly.
Take 1-2 tablets (50-100mg) every 4-6 hours
Maximum: 8 tablets (400mg) per day
For travel sickness: Take 1 tablet 30 minutes before journey
Ages 2-6 years: 12.5-25mg every 6-8 hours
Ages 6-12 years: 25-50mg every 6-8 hours
