The taken food remains in constant motion for the purpose of digestion and waste removal. But sometimes this movement is blocked by a certain type of gathered material in the intestine. This is a serious life-threatening complication as intestine may rupture and dangerous intestinal contents and bacteria may leak into the abdominal cavity. It is treated by medication but surgery is needed for permanent cure.
