اس بیماری کے سبب دل میں خون کے لوتھڑے بن سکتے ہیں ۔ اس وجہ سے فالج کے امکانات بھی پیدا ہو سکتے ہیں۔ یہ بیماری وقفے وقفے سے یا مستقل طور پر ہو سکتی ہے ۔ اگرچہ یہ بہت کم جان لیوا ہوتی ہے مگر اس کے سبب فالج کا خطرہ ہوتا ہے جس سے بچنے کے لیۓ علاج ضروری ہے

Atrial fibrillation is a heart condition characterized by an irregular and frequently abnormally fast heart rate. Your heart rate should be regular and between 60 and 100 beats per minute when you're resting. 

During atrial fibrillation, the heart's upper chambers (the atria) beat chaotically and irregularly, out of sync with the lower chambers (the ventricles). Many people may not experience any symptoms. On the other hand, atrial fibrillation can cause a fast, pounding heartbeat (palpitations), shortness of breath, or weakness.

Blood clots in the heart can occur as a result of atrial fibrillation. It also raises the chances of having a stroke, having heart failure, or having other heart-related complications. Atrial fibrillation episodes can be intermittent or persistent. Although it is rarely fatal, it is a severe medical condition requiring prompt treatment to avoid a stroke.
