I have never had severe constipation or any bleeding but almost 2 years ago, a little lump started hanging out of my anus. It does not hurt or bleed but makes me very uncomfortable to a point that I have so many times thought of cutting it off with a blade. When I consulted a doctor about it, she recommended a surgery and termed it a a 3rd degree Hemorrhoid. I do not want to go through a surgery and recently have been reading about band ligation. Can it be done?
