Talk to Gastroenterologist on Bleeding With Diarrhea.

My brother (18 yrs) has been having bloody diarrhea for more than a week. His stool RE initially showed infection, so he was started on Antamazol, Coproxin, and Anafartan. He worsened and was admitted for IV, then discharged on Entamizol and other meds. Later another doctor prescribed Novidat, Entamizol, Prepz, and Ferfer (he is not taking Ferfer yet) because we thought already taking having med.should he start taking it too.

Now it’s the 3rd day on this last course, and although frequency has reduced a bit, he still passes stool with blood 8–10 times/day. He has no fever but feels weak. Is it normal to still have this much bleeding during treatment, or should we take him back to hospital for urgent review?
