Talk to Gastroenterologist on Excessive Bloating, Gass

Hello doctors, I’m a university student and have been facing constant bloating and loud stomach sounds since my school days (around 10th class). Every morning I feel a balloon-like tightness on the left side of my abdomen near my old appendix surgery site. It happens even on an empty stomach, though eating reduces it slightly.

There’s no pain, just discomfort and constant bloating. I eat homemade food, tried probiotics, and even reduced tea but no improvement. Milk soothes my stomach a bit. My mother has similar symptoms. I stay quite stressed and busy due to university and freelancing.

Please guide what could be the cause and which tests or specialist I should consult. Thanks!
