medications are for temporary pain relief they cant fix the actual problem and also if you long term use them they cause side effects too ,being a physical therapist i always recommend Physiotherapy as there is no side effects and patient got better too without any medicine ,you should take your father to a physical therapist after proper assessment they will guide your father home exercises too and InshaAllah He will got better
