U also have to do life style modifications .. do dinner before 8pm.. do walk after dinner and sleep with a high pillow. Dun use much oil in ur food plus dun eat spicy food. No fry things no fast food. ET more vegetables and fruits.add fresh juices in ur diet. Reduce caffiene and tea.have u get checked for h.pylori. And if yes have u taken medications for it??

Yes I have been tested positive for H. Pylori, took Metronidazole 400mg and Amoxicillin 500mg twice a day for 14 days

Assalamualaikum
I have had GERD for 8 months now. My esophagus hurts alot.
At first I had a pain near my ribcage end on left side. And acquired GERD.
I have been having GERD for 8 months now.
Medications that I took are:
1. esomeprazol 40mg for 8 months.
2. Levosulpride for 1 month
3. Domeperidon for 1 month.
4. Antacids, Omeprazole injections,
