Talk to General Physician on Cold, Flu

I am having sore thorat, dry cough, flu from like 7 days.. fever was there like 99-100 but from 2 days fever got better... I have consulted a doc already and he said its most probably a pharyngitis ..I reallt want to know that does neublization helps with dry cough because I have severe dry cough. I cant sleep at night. If yes kindly guide properly about the ratio of medicine and how much time in a say I can neublize.. ( I have already tried all other remedies gargling, steam but its is not getting better).. please help I am really tired of this cough
