walaikum asalaam ! Hydraulic syrup kk category C m Liya jata h yani agr koi mutabadil na mil rha ho to le skty. it is NOT the best option. We should b extra careful in the first trimester, Have you tried the following :
1. johar joshanda twice daily
2. saline gargles , 1 glass like warm water m 1 spoon salt dal k gharary krain
3. yakhni bna k piyain
4. Take steam every night for 5 nights.

if does not work only then I will advise to take meds .

don't give hydrallin..it can harm your baby..green tea dain,honey main haldi mila ker khilayen,steam inhalation, hot soup,....you can give syp covers 1 spoon subha sham
