AOA! Pt is having headache since 2,3 days, she’s diabetic , aspirin no more works for her, she’s been taking tenormin for hypertension, the case beta blockers are contraindicated to diabetic pt. , can you please suggest what ACE-Inhibitors should she take??

Dear pateint.... Stop tenormin.. This medication cause heart blocks.... This is very bad choice for hypertension... U need ace inhibitior according to your blood pressure readings and your body need... I need to ask some more questions about your health so that i can prescribe u the best possible medication..... don't stop tenormin suddenly BP will bounce back suddenly. stop it by decreasing the dose gradually. second I want to know is she having asthma or any renal issue? than I will advice ACE otherwise calcium channel blocker

She don’t take tenormin daily, it is taken whenever needed, like once or twice a week.. whenever needed, is it okay to take??
