Asking for Self, Female, 29 years old, Lahore
I have cough with mucus from almost a month now. The mucus is off White. I have tried acephyl and pulmonol but no improvement. Should I start antibiotics or anti allergics? Please note I don't have sore throat or fever. This cough occurs every winter

No X ray yet. I wasn't worried as the mucus was white plus I'm assuming it's allergic cough.

First do sputum c/s then start tablet ciproxin 500mg twice a day tablet prednisolone 5mg three times a day syrup hydralline three times a day table paracetamol three times a day. Does anyone around you is smoking. Also use seritide inhaler.

No one's smokes around me. This cough bothers me every winter. This time it has a lot of phlegm. I took ventolin but it gave me shivers n palpitations so I left it.
