Assalamualaikum. Yeh meri neck ki left side par ap dekh saktay hain. 1 ya 2 saal sy yeh thora thora size me increase hota gya hai likin pain ni hota tha pehlay aur red bhi ni tha. From last 2-3 days, I have pain when I touch it ya neck ko move bhi karun aur isk aas paas ka area be slightly sa red hogya hai. Yeh soft nahin hard hai. Please someone help and guide me that what exactly is this and what is the remedy for it. I am afraid of going for operation (if it's a gilti). Thanks.

It could be an infected sebaceous cyst.Sebaceous cysts are often seen in hairy regions .You can take an antibiotic,the redness will subside.Take Augmentin 1 G twice a day for 7 days.
The swelling is however likely to persist after above treatment though it will become normal coloured and pain-free.
If this happens again and again,consult a surgeon for excision.
