Asking For Father, Male 47, usta mohammad
Patient has episodic hypertension,means at rest and in normal condition his bp remains below 140 but sometimes his bp shoots to 180/100 upto 200/110,lipid profile shows increased level of triglycerides and decreased level of HDL,His HBA1c is 4.4 and fasting glucose is near 70,other than that his fasting insulin is 8.2 uUI/ml,he has family history of hypertension and renal failure,now the problem here is dr prescribed him valsartan+amilodipine but after taking medicine he complained of orthostatic hypotension,Dr decreased the dose but the complaint remained,so he left medicines while at resting his bp is normal but his bp suddenly shoots upto above mentioned range,problem here is that when this bout of hypertension occurs,he becomes hypoglycemic as well,unconscious,blurred vision excessively hungry,sweating and shaking....what is diagnosis....??

Hyperthyrodism ruled out with investigations as well,heart failure ruled out by noticing and physical examination,primary aldosteronism is matter of concern here.

make a BP chart. check BP everyday morning and evening and after 1 week show it to your physician
take medicine daily before sleep
change diet
exercise daily
kidney tests
