Talk to General Physician on Loose Stools - Diarrhea

Salaam My husband is experiencing Diarrhea since a week. It kinda improved over time so no medication was administered. It got severe yesterday (frequency= 10 plus) self administered Flagyl BD dose and Biflor sachet. Later in the evening he was taken to GP and he advised Ciprofloxacin 500mg and Risek 20mg (bd dosing) for 3 days with ORS therapy. The frequency reduced but he's still unable to eat or digest any food (simple diet referred here). What should I do? Ps: 3 doses of the medicine are administered till now.
