For the past seven months, my fingers have been swollen, and I experience numbness in my hands after just a few minutes of activity or even while resting. The swelling is persistent, and the numbness tends to worsen at times, especially during the night or early morning. It’s starting to affect my daily tasks and overall comfort.

It is most probably the median nerve compression causing Numbness and swelling. Does it affect your grip to hold objects as well?
But this nerve compression might have some other inflammatory condition leading to it. That might be diabetes, Joint disease such as RA, Hypothyroidism etc. Get yourself checked for these conditions.
