Talk to General Physician on Sebhorric Dermatitis

Assalamualaikum dear doctors: I have been suffering from sebhoric dermatitis since a long time (2 years). I went to doctor and had its treatment for about 4 5 months but nothing worked well. Got temporary relief but the treatment made my hair extremely thin and dry and led to hair fall. I stopped treatment since the condition of my scalp and hair was getting worse. Someone suggests me to use mixture of Amala oil and vitamin E capsules. Kindly suggest me is it better for sebh dermatitis or not ? Currently I m using just olive oil and nouvelle hair mask weekly. Please help me in this regard.
