Severe sore throat from 7 days DryCough from 5 days Headache from 6 days
1 week back I suddenly developed sore throat which was gradual in onset, constant and the intensity increases from mild to severe over the last few days. cant even speak for 3 days. then headache starts which also become unbearable and slightest noice becomes extremely irritable,worsens on bending forward(in sujood,ruku) and get relieved by sleeping. I went to ENT,ASH on 4th day they prescribed Klaracid xl 500mg 1+0+0,Zyrtec 1+0+1 and Betnesol twice(for gargling I didnt take this because gargling induces vomiting) I am also taking panadol twice a day. the problem is I got my voice back on taking 3 days dose but the dry cough has worsened so much after that that whenever I cough my whole abdomen aches v badly,back pain bhi hai. cough relieved for3-4hours after I wake up.

Also felt feverish during severe bouts of coughing. Temp was around 99 - 100

well you need to Take the full dose of Klaricid for 5 days it's dose is BD nor OD. and Steriods is not indicated for Sore throat but for Lower Respiratory it can speed up the recovery. Just take the antibiotics for 5 days or One week. you gonna be alright. and Anxiety is also one of the factor that can lead to Palpitations and other symptoms so you need to be calm.

but my last dose is 5 day course.
should I start taking it for another 5 days BD??? are you sure? I dont think I could tolerate it. I am 32kg

you can take 250mg BD for two more days. or Half of the 500mg BD. and you are also underweight.

doctor sahab! I feel like losing my sense of smell and taste one day(couldn't smell my sanitizer,perfume) but the other day it's back! so It's quite confusing for me to say if I had Covid because I have altered sense of smell since last 12 months after regaining it 7 months back. never go for pcr test 1 year ago coz only mild symptoms. family member have positive history 1 year ago.
