Asking For Self, Female 29, Karachi
on 5th December i got pain and swelling around my right shoulder and around arms ,it was so severe that i wasn't being able to move my hands and wasn't even able to move it upward, so i took voltral tablet and got relief from the pain bt felt stiffness and and popping sound while movement may be from shoulder or upper arm side, then on 12th December i got the same pain in my left shoulder and arms and swelling in both shoulders the pain lasted for 10 hours and then it went away but now both seems fine a bit swelling and stiffness maybe or resistance i feel still in both hands on arms or upper side of shoulder ,i went to a rheumatologist yesterday she ask me for few tests ecg report was clear ,i got cbc ,ESR and ASOtitre test , the reports of which I'm uploading here please suggest me what can be the reason for that pain and let me know if my reports are okay. I often feels pain in my neck but it goes away from panadol.

All these tests are normal. Looks like frozen shoulder. Advice:
- Physiotherapy
- Apply hot bag over affected area and do light massage. will relieve stiffness.
- Voltral for pain relief only. always take painkillers after meal.

ok thank you , but the pain migrates to my lower hand wrist also its mild bt still resistance in shoulder movement,also the platelets count seems higher or is it normal too ? i am taking iron supplements (fefol vit) and calci 1000 should i continue these supplements too

You can stop taking iron supplements as your Hb levels are near normal for female of your age. However, ensure to take iron rich diet (diet rich in green vegetables like spinach, mutton/red meat, pulses, beans). Platelet count is bit high which is normal in iron-deficient patients. It will be normal soon. nothing to worry about. Regarding your pain migration down to hands, it can be due to cervical disc compression as well. That will also improve with physiotherapy and good sitting posturing.

if pain is radiating it could b nerve compression.
pain killers could give you relief for the time being but underlying cause should b treated
