Talk to General Physician on Sudden Arm Or Muscle Spasm And Sleeplessness

My husband is facing this issue for the last one month where his arms sometimes jerk more like a muscle spasm and his hand hurts too. It is usually while he is sleeping. Also, he cannot sleep for the last few days and doesn't want to sleep in AC. Usually goes out for fresh air but he is sleep-deprived and lethargic almost all the time. He wants to sleep literally all the time. I am really worried about him.
