hello my husband has pain in his lower legs n feet most of the time as his work is of driving we thought it is because of that. today he had his lunch at 1 pm then after 2.30pm he done his sugar test which is 163. First time this level comes now we are afraid is he diabetic or it is because of something ? what we can do ? how to control it ? His father is diabetic for 15 year's.

its better to get his HbA1c level first. it will help in diagnosis of diabetes and then further intervention regarding diabetes managment can be discussed

yesterday night level is 141 after 2 hrs of meal & walk.
now early morning fasting test done value is 106.

its not bad but he has pre-diabetes which means he is prone to become diabetic soon if he doesnt take care of his its better to get a diet plan for him from some professional and guidance regarding other lifestyle modifications.

AOA! For Diabetes diagnosis plz go for his 8 hours fasting sugar level and HBA1c.

These readings are fine . Just get his HBA1c also done and this test doesn’t require any fasting. And get back to us with the reading for further advice. It looks like he is prediabetic and just need dietary and life style modifications. What is his weight? How is his blood pressure ?And also get his eyes checked by eye specialist to rule out any diabetic changes started there as these changes can begin long before the confirmed diagnosis of diabetes. if he has a strong family history of diabetes, he should get any two of the following 3 tests checked once a year:
fasting blood sugar
blood sugar 2 hours after breakfast or
HbA1c
