Talk to General Physician on Suspected Insect Bite

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 28 years old, Islamabad

Last Sunday, I spotted a small red bump on my left thigh. It looked like a mosquito bite so I ignored. But after few days, it started getting bigger, swollen and red. I was feeling extreme pain while moving. I started applying ointment Provate G on the affected area. Now that area has turned blackish and has started to bleed as well. It's less swollen now. But that tingling pain is still there while moving. Do I need to take oral antibiotics as well? Is the wound getting healed or getting worse? Please advise. Thanks.
