Talk to General Physician on Throat Infection Almost A Month

Assalamu alaikum, Doctor Sahib,
I'm writing to seek your advice regarding my younger brother's health. He's been suffering from a throat infection for almost a month now. Despite the cough being mild, he experiences a significant amount of phlegm whenever he coughs. This leads to repeated coughing fits until the phlegm is cleared.
Currently, he's not taking any medication. I would greatly appreciate your guidance on the best course of action to help him recover.

Need more info regarding his age and medications done so far or if he is having fever or not as it could be an allergic cough not an infection. better to book a consultation .
ok then will need antibiotics ,antiallergics also a sputum culture test along with blood tests. better to get a consultation if not physical then atleast book online appointment. till then keep checking temp at home daily .can give tab rigix 10mg at night
