Talk to General Surgeon on Anal Fissure
Asking For Self, Male, 25 Years old, multan
Since Dec 2025, I have been suffering from a chronic anal fissure with significant pain and discomfort. I used GTN and lignocaine regularly but have had minimal improvement. The severe pain has reduced, however I still cannot pass stool completely without pain. The area feels very tight and sensitive, and there also seems to be a small pile/swelling present. Recovery feels very limited so far.

You will have to get it done examined first before anyone can offer you any treatment. Since you have been using medicines for a long time now might be the right time to think about a surgical option. You have two. Open surgery or Laser Surgery.

use Diltiazam cream 2% along with GTN & Lignocaine, Sitz baths 15 minutes daily or may be twice, High fiber diet with plenty fluids. Movicol satche one daily or Lactulose 10ml twice for two months. In case of severe pain take oral pain killers. After two months write to me your condition.
