Asking for Mother, Female, 54 years old, Karachi
My mother have 2 lumps is her right lower back area and one in lower belly area. They are not visible on skin but can be felt under skin. This condition is from past 4 years. We got ultrasounds 2 years back and there were visible lumps. They weren't painful back then but from past 1 week she is not able to move her back or bend. She can not even switch sides while sleeping. She's in alot of pain. What should we do? Who can we consult? Initially doctors said it was lipomas but now they are painful.
these are stil lipomas, if painful, visit a surgeon n get all removed which r causing pain.
Surgical Excision
history is favouring the lipomas bt need to get examined first then decide for the management
where r U from. she needs checkup
she needs examination
according to history looks like lipoma..but need proper examination for further management.
you need to show it to a General Surgeon with reasonable experience .... the pain may not be due to these swellings.
She needs to be shown to General surgeon for evaluation and proper treatment. Some of these lumps may need excision biopsy.
Consult gen surgeon it needs biopsy
some times like that picture are also occured in lymph nodes swelling
there is many differential diagnosis of it
it may b any mass , lipoma , lymphadenopathy
so for it required proper work up
proper hx of weight loss any TB hx in family
so should consult gen Surgeon
