Talk to General Surgeon on Perennial Abscess
Asking for Self, Female, 22 years old, Faislabad
In last Ramadan, I have surgery of perennial abscess .All Wound recovered but very minor part is yet not recovered. Is there any treatment for this? or it will remain the same .I consulted my doctor three times and every time she said that there is no medication for this . It will heal with the passage of time but now it's 7th month . Any recommendations please.

it could be a fistula and it won't heal. consult general surgeon.
If pus is coming from that wound. It has developed into Fistula in ano. Get MR Fistulogram. Will need surgery.

yes, I don't know if you were told at your first surgery that you might require another surgery later in case of perianal fistula. you need to have MRI pelvis with contrast (fistula protocol) to rule out perianal fistula. I would recommend that before that go back to your primary surgeon and get your self properly examined? I hope this helps
