Dear Respected Doctor please help, I am very depressed ? I am a 22-year-old male suffering from pilonidal sinus disease since 2022. Initially, I had only 1–2 sinus openings, but over the last 2–3 years, the number has gradually increased to around 4–5 openings as you see in the picture.
History: • First discharge: April 2022 • Second discharge : November 2025
About 2 months ago, I experienced bleeding and pus discharge mixed from the pilonidal sinus. At that time, I took Augmentin, avoided prolonged sitting, shaved the area, and maintained hygiene with warm water cleaning. After this, the discharge stopped completely and there has been no continuous drainage for the last 2 months.
Current Issue:
Recently, I noticed one new soft pimple-like lesion slightly above the previous sinus area (as visible in the attached photo). Initially, it felt like a normal pimple, with no hardness and no pain. I could not feel this type of swelling before.

it usually has multi sinus openings with tracts and during surgery it is excised with care to take all the tracts. better to visit a surgeon get examined and prepare Ur self for the surgery. there is no other treatment option for this diseases

yes pilonidal sinus has tendency to form multiple tracks and opening, now best option will be visiting near surgeon and get clinical examination and discuss for surgery if feasible
