You have obviously heard that if there is any problem with your head you get brain MRI. It is not as simple as that. You still have to see a specialist. The best thing for you is to consult a good physician ( a medical specialist) in your area and describe your symptoms to him. He would want to examine you and see whether you need to see a neurologist. A neurologist will then make a working diagnosis and do necessary investigations. Even if it is a neurological case a brain MRI may not be required. So the first thing is making an appointment with a medical specialist or neurologist. Even if he advises an MRI he has to provide a reason. He has to ask a question in order to confirm or discard his provisional diagnosis.
