I have a sever epileptic type of sezeiur after two and half year of brain tumor surgery as I missed exticam 250 mg my neurosurgeon suggested me to take half tablet just in evening
Need more details around the event and case details. Plus we need to keep in mind the possibility of tumor recurrence.

you r taking under dose that why seizures occurred consult Neurologist
Following brain surgery even if the tumour been totally excised you are left with a scar which forms an epileptic focus and you may continue to have partial fits secondarily generalising. Levitiracetam that you are taking is the correct medication for control but missing your dose will bring on a seizure. You will need to restart the medication which you may need lifelong. In this situation you may ultimately need to consider scar surgery
Best thing is to keep seizures under control by not missing the medication. Scar surgery is contemplated by neurosurgeons if fits are out of control even with one or two anti epileptic drugs. Consult your neurosurgeon

Sir I consulted my neurosurgeon he suggested to increase dose of exticam 250 mg Day time and also take a tablet night time too

On 2 January 2026my MRI BRAIN PLAIN WITH CONTRAST was done no sign of reccurance was seen
on 8 April 2026 I got follow up check up with my neurosurgeon he then suggested me to take half tablet exticam 250 mg just in evening
on 11 April I missed my tablet the same night I got a seizure
I consulted neurosurgeon yesterday in Gujrat he again suggested me to take 250 mg tablet exticam in the morning and in the evening also
he has not considered me another MRI BRAIN PLAIN WITH CONTRAST

Agreed with the increase of dose to 250mg x BID.
We can repeat the scan with contrast 6 months after the January one.
