botox is best if correctly done and and have right diagnosis. The other treatment option is deep brain stimulation.

If you are asking what is the cause of blepharospasms then that is likely due to irritation of the facial nerve. Could be at different points.
If it is indeed blepharospasms then Botox is the way to go.
