Asking For Mother, Female 85, karachi
my mother is suffering from dimentia.her condition is declining.sometimes she talks in air or have hallucination.this started with vertigo around years vack.loss of hearing,loss of balance and loss of appetite as well.she fell down that caused some injuries.once she went outside of home while everyone was sleeping.she also have hypertension and AMD.ONE DR PRESCRIBED FLUX. She sleeps most of the time during day and nite too. i need immediate help and consultation via video

I am very sorry to hear about your mother. She sounds like she is going through a very hard time. Her memory loss, talking in the air, falls, and sleeping too much are signs that her dementia may be getting worse.
Can you please tell me, is she using any medicine for dementia like Rivastigmine, Donepezil, or Memantine? These medicines can help slow down memory loss a little.
Also, try to keep her safe at home. Lock the doors at night and remove things she can trip over. A walker or walking stick may help her balance.
She also needs to be checked for infections, low sodium, or weakness, which can make dementia worse suddenly.
