Talk to Neuro Physician on Pituitary Macroadenoma And Apoplexy

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 30 years old, Karachi

I was first diagnosed with pituitary microadenoma in 2021, then pituitary hyperplasia in 2022. In 2025, MRI shows recurrent microadenoma with apoplexy. I have a genetic history of migraines, diagnosed PCOS (2021), and recurrent headaches. Two days ago, I had a head injury causing swelling and bruising, followed by a sudden, severe headache unlike my usual migraines. I also experience occasional vision changes and dizziness, which seem to worsen with stress or hormonal changes. The doctors I visited are not providing the exact solution. I want to be cured. What should I do?

Unfortunately, recurrence of macroadenoma's is fairly common and depending on the degree of symptoms you may need to be operated again.

Regarding the new headache (different) from your migraines, please visit a Neurologist as soon as possible. We don't want to miss something serious.
