Aoa..
I don't know whether you know this before or not, but this disease is one of those which don't have any cure! Though we can give medicines only that slow down the progression of disease and rest is supportive management and bedside care and alot of support from family

If the diagnosis is confirmed, then unfortunately, ALS has no cure. Medications only slow down progression.

Having said that, it won't be the first time someone is wrongly labelled to have ALS.

share the Recent EMG report, and would like to see a good Neurologist physically, unfortunately my mother also had ALS almost 20 years ago, we can treat the symptoms as they come and make him as comfortable as passible, Riluzole might slow down his disease not by years but months, every patient is different some live to upto 20 years after diagnosis and some only 1 to 2 years.
