Listen to them and schedule an appointment with a pediatrician. However make sure you are not making meal times traumatic for her. I see a lot of parents trying to force feed their children and the children crying and resisting. Doing this will cause the child to view meal times as a stressful and create more problems in the long run.

Schedule all meals for the child. Make sure they are healthy and as nutrient dense as possible. Avoid all junk food and fast food as there is very little there to help her grow. Keep all sugar out of the diet as well. At meal times, fix her plate and let her eat as much as she is willing. Then set the rest aside. About 45 minutes later encourage her to eat another few bites off of her plate. If she doesn't, don't force her. Keep in mind a child will not normally allow themselves to starve, it's against our physiological nature to do so. Every child is different. Some will only be in the 10th percentile.
